This project investigates the ethical and biological crises precipitated by gene-editing technologies.
Through speculative futures and an interdisciplinary research framework,
it draws on the Genesis narrative and myths of salvation to construct a critical metaphor.
By integrating publication, interactive installation, and moving-image work,
the project creates a cyclical experience of “hope–disillusionment” revealing the alienation of
humanity and biological order under techno-redemptive narratives.
SALVATION interrogates the boundaries between technological veneration and free will,
exposing the biological risks concealed beneath the pursuit of rational progress.
